During the meeting, the President reviewed with Total and LNG officials the nature of the field work and developments on issue of raising LNG price in addition to increasing production and expanding investments.
Hadi indicated to the Paris meeting in October 2012 with Total Company’s president, which was based on opening a new page of dealing transparently and sincerely.
Total was and still is a great partner with Yemen, he said, adding “we have agreed on changing LNG’s prices quickly and without delay, taking into account the economic critical conditions of Yemen.”
The President stressed that any obstructions must be removed according to the law, urging Total to talk with the government in order to reach a deal ensures quick revenues to meet urgent economic requirements.
He stressed that Total is a big investment partner with Yemen, therefore, there are hopes of developing works with the company in the investment and economic fields to achieve the interests of both parties.
Total President expressed appreciation to President Hadi, stressing that the work is going on perfectly to develop the partnership to wider prospects.
Breuillac said the company will soon come to agreements to ensure realizing the desired goals taking into account Yemen’s economic circumstances at this exceptional stage.
