President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi on Thursday chaired a meeting of the Conciliation Committee of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC).
During the meeting, the formation of a constitution drafting commission was largely discussed.
The meeting also reviewed legal and constitutional aspects as well as qualification and experience that members of this potential commission must have.
They further debated mechanisms of selecting members of the constitution drafting commission which will be formed soon.
President Hadi urged the Conciliation Committee’s members to shoulder their responsibility and sincerely work to translate outcomes of NDC into reality.
He stressed that Yemen is currently witnessing a critical juncture which requires all Yemenis to cooperate in order to overcome challenges and build up a modern state.
