Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi met here on Thursday with a Chinese delegation headed by Director-General of the Department of West Asian and North African Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Chen Xiaodong.
During the meeting, Xiaodong handed over to the Foreign Minister an invitation to participate in the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum (CASCF).
In the presence of Chinese ambassador to Yemen Chang Hua, the meeting also discussed proposals to modify the mechanism of the Friends of Yemen group meetings as well as the ongoing arrangements for the group’s 7th meetin slated for April 29 in London.
Moreover, the two sides dealt with several issues of common interest at the regional and international levels, in addition to the possible ways to strengthen the cooperation relations between Yemen and China.
