President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi received on Wednesday evening a phone call from the Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary General Abdullatif Al-Zayani.
During the conversation, Al-Zayani expressed his congratulations along with the GCC countries over victories made by the Yemeni army against al-Qaeda militants in Abyan and Shabwa governorates.
He pointed out that combating terrorism is a shared responsibility in the framework of international cooperation to fight al-Qaeda militants in the whole world.
Al-Zayani reiterated the full support of the GCC countries to all steps, measures, and decisions have been taken by President Hidi in the path of translating the NDC outcomes on the ground as well as the efforts exerted to enhance security and stability in the country.
