President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi received on Monday a cable of congratulations from U.S. President Barack Obama on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the National Day.
In his cable, Obama extended his congratulations and to the Yemeni people on the occasion of Yemen’s Unity Day.
He expressed his appreciation to President Hadi along with Yemeni people over the latest developments toward carrying out the political transition phase, especially on the successful conclusion of the National Dialogue Conference and forming the Constitution Drafting Committee on the light of NDC outcomes.
He said that he looks forward national elections, pledging to continue to support the procession of Yemeni people for change and implementing the significant reforms towards building a democratic, and prosperous new Yemen.
Obama also expressed his appreciation towards steps taken to face huge threat of terrorism, confirming his country’s continued support to these efforts.
