Yemen will take part in the annual meeting of the UNDP on the rule of law and judiciary in countries suffering from crises which will be held Tuesday in New York.
The meeting will discuss a number of issues of international concern mainly the rule of law in countries experiencing transition like the Arab Spring, Human Rights Minister Houriya Mashhour said upon her departure to New York on Monday.
Mashhour will brief the meeting on the latest political developments in the country including the success of the comprehensive national dialogue conference and efforts to implement its outcomes,she said.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Mashhour will meet with Director of the Arab Regional Office of UNDP to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Yemen and the United Nations,especially in the developmental and economic areas.
