President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi met on Wednesday Mark Feierstein, the associate administrator at the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
During the meeting, they reviewed areas of cooperation and assistance provided by the USAID to Yemen in various fields of development.
The president expressed his appreciation for the US cooperation with Yemen since the outbreak of the crisis in 2011, noting the efforts of the USAID and the visit paid by its administrator Rajiv Shah to Yemen following the cleansing of Abyan province of the terrorists.
For his part, the US official said he will sign with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation an agreement to provide a grant of US$20 million to the areas of health and education in Yemen.
