President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi stressed on Sunday crisis and terrorist acts will not deter Yemen from moving forward in implementing the political settlement.
Yemen is experiencing economic, political and security impasses and we all should do every effort to secure Yemen and overcome all challenges for the aspirations of our youths and grandsons and not make them be victims for our selfish political disagreements,” Hadi said during his meeting with members of General Committee of the General People Congress (GPC) and National Alliance Parties (NAPs).
He underlined the need for full faith in Yemen’s right to stability, security and unity, and to learn and benefit from past lessons and experiences.
The President indicated to the current debated prospects, saying they are based on a unified state of Yemen, namely a several-region federal state and the establishment of good governance in a democratic way that allow people to govern themselves, without exclusion or prejudice.
He reviewed a number of issues relating to the security, political and economic affairs, stressing “We are determined to move forward until getting Yemen out of the crisis safe whatever the challenges.”
He talked about the criminal attack taken place on Thursday morning at “Al-Ordhi hospital” of Defense Ministry that claimed the lives of many of security individuals, Yemeni and foreigner medical staff and nurses, in addition to many patients happened to be in the hospital.
The President underscored that he had to move to the Defense Ministry to follow up the confrontations with the terrorists, whom have been confined in a narrow range until being eliminated within the hospital’s complex cross and then hunting others were hiding in some places.
“This crime is precedence here in Yemen, because it did not only renounce the values of Islam, but also of humanity and morality,” he said, praising the heroic role shown by the police, military, special protection forces.
