President Hadi receives popular group supporting political leadership

President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi received here on Sunday the popular group to support the political leadership, security, stability and outputs of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC).

At the meeting, President Hadi expressed his pleasure for the success of the NDC that political parties, civil society organizations, youth and women unanimously agreed upon to build a new Yemen on the base of justice, equality and good governance.

He said that everyone have chosen the country’s interests, security and stability through the consensus and dialogue and “We all feel that we have achieved a lot for our country through a unique model of the process of transformation that the so-called Arab Spring countries have witnessed.

“Yemenis, within ten months of the national dialogue in which they transparently discussed various issues, have agreed unanimously to build a new Yemen through a federal state that ensures justice and equality”, President Hadi also mentioned.

“Economic challenges and unemployment are the problems Yemen faces. These problems can be overcome and resolved if there were good confidence and stability, which in turn will attract investment”, President Hadi added.

The President explained that the world stands by Yemen to overcome its challenges and difficulties at various levels due to the great importance of Yemen’s location for the world, stressing that the national and international consensus stand by the success of the NDC outputs and the transformation that Yemen has witnessed.

For his part, Sheikh Saleh Mohammed Bin Shajea read a statement on behalf of the popular group to support the political leadership, security, stability and the NDC outputs, thanking and appreciating President Hadi for his efforts to end the crises and challenges that Yemen faces during this historical phase and build a modern and federal state of Yemen.

They also expressed their confidence in President Hadi’s strategic vision and deep sense of responsibility towards Yemen in this critical period.

They mentioned that their public initiative has come from the need to line up to support the outputs of the NDC and implement them as the only way for Yemen’s safety.

The statement praised the unprecedented regional and international support for Yemen, confirming that their group will stand by the political leadership at this critical phase to overcome the various challenges and difficulties and achieve the transformations that Yemenis want.
