Yemen and the National Democratic Institute (NDI) have discussed the National Dialogue Conference (NDC)’s outputs that related to human rights and recommendations of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of the Human Rights Council (HRC).
This came in a meeting gathered Minister of Human Rights Houria Mashhour and the Director of the NDI Sana’a-based office.
The two officials also talked over the implementation of a memorandum of understanding signed between the two sides.
They also affirmed the importance of capacity building of the ministry’s personnel along with its partners in the government and the civil society in field of following up the implementation of the NDC in that regard.
